Ingredients:
250g pasta (spaghetti, penne, or your favourite)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 garlic cloves, minced
1 can (400g) diced tomatoes (or 3 fresh tomatoes, chopped)
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 can (150g) tuna, drained
1 tbsp capers, rinsed
1 handful fresh dill, chopped
Chili flakes (optional, for extra spice)
Instructions:
Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until soft and translucent.
Stir in the red bell pepper and garlic, cooking for another 2 minutes.
Add the tomatoes, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Stir in the tuna and capers, mixing well to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Toss in the cooked pasta, ensuring it’s evenly coated with the sauce.
Sprinkle with fresh dill and chili flakes for an extra kick.
Serve hot and enjoy!
